You’ll Learn:

• Basic strokes and pen control

• Script alphabet construction

• Word layout and balance

• Simple embellishments and flourishes

You’ll leave with a workbook and pen to keep practicing!

Meet Your Instructor

Alyissa is an artist, designer and maker with over 10 years of experience varying from product designer, illustrator to trend forecaster and small business owner. She’s had the pleasure of teaching handlettering at the Kanas City Art Institute and guiding multiple workshops around the KC area. With experience in various tools and techniques, her practice over perfection methods have delighted students and helped ease non-artists into a new hobby. She’s excited to bring this workshop back to life with new tools and exercises.
